Eagle Bay getting into position, appoints new GM

In addition to winning the offshore WA acreage as reported in EnergyReview.net recently, Eagle Bay are gearing up for a big year as the company firms up drilling plans, farms in partners and appoints key personnel.

The company has appointed former stockbroker Mr Andrew McGuckin as general manager. With the activity Eagle Bay is planning to generate, Mr McGuckin's experience in the markets will be of significant value, although managing director, Mr Tony Rechner, has never had trouble attracting investors onto his register previously.

Eagle Bay is planning to announce their intentions regarding its East Patricia prospects, in the Gippsland Basin, very soon and is hopeful that this will include a slot or two at the end of the Ensco 35 drill rig's planned program in the area. Mr Rechner said that they were close to finalising a farm-in partner for the drilling.
