Messy wells? Try PowerCLEAN

Having trouble cleaning out that wellbore? According to oil field services leader Schlumberger Oilfield Services, it has just the solution in the form of its newly-launched, multi-component PowerCLEAN system.

Messy wells? Try PowerCLEAN

Designed for wellbore fill removal using coiled tubing, PowerCLEAN is an integrated system that includes job design software, a proprietary nozzle design for improved cleaning ability, specialised fluids, and a real-time solids monitoring system for better solids removal.

Schlumberger's Well Services President, Mark Corrigan, strongly believes that this new technology is just what a well operator needs. According to Corrigan, "Clean wells make better producers! The integrated PowerCLEAN system has all the elements needed to address even the most complex well geometries. PowerCLEAN brings another powerful tool to our arsenal of techniques for helping our customers get the maximum production from their well stock."

PowerCLEAN has already been field-tested successfully in the Gulf of Mexico.
