Woodford Shale confirmed at East Oklahoma: Red Fork

US-FOCUSED Red Fork Energy says logs on the first East Oklahoma well, RDFK 1-3, have confirmed the presence of the Woodford Shale at the depth and width predicted.

The company said the shale was encountered at 480 feet and logged to be about 50ft thick. The logs samples also had a show of gas and demonstrated good porosity and permeability, the company added....
