AFTER a nine-month wait New Guinea Energy has received PNG government approval to complete a farm-out deal struck last year with Talisman Energy. Meanwhile, the Siphon-1 exploration well is closing in on its main target reservoir.
Talisman paid $US1.2 million for the transfer of a 35% interest from NGE in the PPL 268 licence in November.
