'Master of disaster' criticises Bight attitude

THE subsea bolting issue that has previously been identified in drilling operations in the Gulf of Mexico is continuing to cause headaches for BP in its plans to drill the Stromlo-1 well, with a global expert known as the "master of disaster" saying Australia's regulator's attitude towards potential risks is "alarming".
