ENB Future of Energy Report 2023

ENB’s inaugural Future of Energy Report details the industry outlook on the medium-to-long-term future for the sector in the Asia Pacific region.

The Future of Energy 2023 report includes comprehensive coverage of: key drivers of the future of energy in Australia; investment and export scenarios; the direction for 'new' energy; and probable growth trends across the key energy types.

The survey captured responses from more than 150 industry players. Initially ENB carried out the survey in January 2023, however due to the unprecedented events of 2023 re-surveyed in November of the same year.

This gives the ENB Future of Energy 2023 report an extra insight into how the thinking of energy market executives has change during the year.

The survey shows a level of caution creeping into the industry around untried energy solutions, however, there has been a noted uplift in opposition to traditional energy sources, such as coal, oil and gas.
