Global rating agency, Standard & Poor's this week lowered its long-term rating on GasNet Australia (Operations), formerly GPU GasNet Pty Ltd.
GasNet Australia has been marked down from BBB-plus to BBB.
"While the company's business position remains strong, the financial profile is expected to be slightly weaker in the medium term than was expected under it previous ownership structures," S&P said.
