Pacific Power division set to be privatised: NSW Opposition

The NSW Government is set to privatise Pacific Power International, a division of Pacific Power, according to the opposition spokesman on energy, Mr Duncan Gay.

He said a staff memo confirmed the looming sale of PPI, which specialises in engineering and consultancy. "This is in direct conflict with official Labor Party policy, which states PPI should be kept in public ownership," Mr Gay said.
