THE Northern Territory government will keep almost half of the territory out of bounds to oil and gas explorers and producers under its map of ‘no-go-zones’ which covers 654,900sq.km or about 48.44% of the Territory.

Even so, environmentalists, local indigenous people, and anti-fraccing campaigners say it's not good enough, and that the government "cannot be trusted" to properly map out the no-go zones.
