Victorian EPA investigating Viva refinery smell  

VICTORIA’s Environmental Protection Authority is investigating a potential gas leak from Viva Energy’s oil refinery in Geelong after local residents complained of a strong smell that was causing discomfort and nausea over the weekend.

In a statement provided to Energy New, EPA South West regional manager Carolyn Francis said it had received 17 pollution reports from local residents last Sunday, complaining of a "bad odour"
