Former BP boss says oil prices mean climate "doesn't stand a chance" 

FORMER BP chief Lord Browne said this week higher oil prices made it very hard for E&P to move away from petroleum production and into new areas, essentially dooming the climate.

He was speaking in the City of London, suggesting a contrarian argument to that offered by today's E&P chiefs: high prices will result in more supply, driving out renewables.    His own former company...
