Ironically Voser quit Shell in 2001 after the company appointed outsider Judy Boynton to the CFO position, who has since been sacked in the company’s reserves collapse which as written billions off Shell’s bottom line.

No one will be able to doubt the courage of former ABB senior executive Peter Voss, who has jumped into the hot seat as Royal Dutch/Shells new chief financial officer ahead of what is expected to be a fiery shareholders meeting on Monday.
