Flextech will design the flexible pipe installation spread while providing installation analysis and project support to subsea contractor Ocean Installer.

The project will take place offshore Norway during the 2015 northern summer.

Flextech will also provide engineering support during the fabrication of the equipment and the subsequent offshore campaign.

The company has a team of 10 subsea and marine specialists and wants to add another 10 employees within the next 12 months.

Flextech engineering director Craig Keyworth said the company had prior experience working with Ocean Installer.
