Another North Sea blow

STRUGGLING oilers in the North Sea now face not only the loss of the vital Lincolnshire Offshore Gas Gathering System and the Theddlethorpe gas terminal, but US oiler Marathon Oil is accelerating plans to shut down one of Britain's most important North Sea oilfields – and not even recent tax cuts are expected to be enough to turn the tide.
