Eastern Star Gas Ltd has reported it has successfully completed its Pilliga East Seismic Survey in PEL 238, Gunnedah Basin. Eight lines totalling 38.38km of detail seismic in the Bohena Gas Field were acquired.
The company said the new data will be processed and interpreted with drilling likely to begin in the mid-year.
ESG has a 20 per cent stake in PEL 238, which covers an area of approximately 8,500 sq.km in the Gunnedah Basin in NSW. Permian and Triassic age sediments are the main exploration targets within the licence.
