Out of the 11 sites, only 8 have received bids and the government is to give other companies another month to apply for the rights before a decision will be made.
Conocophillips aims for Indonesian blocks
Conocophillips has revealed that it is applying for exploration rights in a new Indonesian block. This comes after the Indonesian government's decision to open 11 new areas for oil and gas explorations to be undertaken by foreign companies.
