Toobada-1 reports significant shows

The aggressive drilling campaign being conducted by the Tap Oil, Kufpec, Apache consortium in WA has had yet another success with the Toobada-1 exploration well, located in WA-192-P, 15km north of the Wonnich Field.

The top of the primary objective was penetrated close to prognosis with hydrocarbon shows being reported over a 200m gross interval in the equivalent of the Flag and Barrow Group Sandstones.

Toobada-1 was proposed to test a potential oil accumulation at top Flag Sandstone level. At total depth a suite of electric logs and formation pressure tester/sampler will be run to determine the nature and significance of the shows.

WA-192-P Joint Venture participants interests are Tap Oil (operator) 13.7723%, Apache Energy 64.5207% and Kufpec Australia 21.707%.
