Eight papers on CBM and six on groundwater and salinity studies, as well as presentations on potential field methods as applied to the exploration for petroleum are at hand at the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists-Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia’s 17th Geophysical Conference and Exhibition (ASEG-PESA 2004) at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre next week.

Running from 15-19 August, also on offer at ASEG-PESA 2004 will be 15 petroleum sessions with 65 technical presentations on all aspects of seismic acquisition/processing/interpretation, 21 petroleum case histories, keynote addresses and three petroleum forums.
