Australia to run E&P showcase in Canada

THE Australian government will be spruiking Down Under exploration & production opportunities this month at the AAPG conference in Calgary, Canada.

The seminar is designed to give some insights into onshore and offshore opportunities in Australia.

It will serve as an introduction to the Australian display at this year's AAPG Annual Convention in Calgary.

The Australian Oil & Gas Exploration Opportunities is being held on Friday 17 June, with a 4.30pm for 5.00pm starting time.

Government officials said given it was the end of the working week, the seminar would be very brief (30 minutes) and fine Australian wine and beer would be served as refreshments.

The venue is the Aspen Room at the Hawthorn Hotel, 618 - 5th Ave, SW Calgary The free admission is by invitation only with details available from Jenny Maher jenny.maher@ga.gov.au by 10 June.
