TODD Energy, New Zealand's largest private energy company, has outlined a major exploration and production program over the next two years, as well as the possibility of building its own 200-megawatt gas-fired power station.

Last Tuesday managing director Richard Tweedie said Todd had an active E&P program scheduled for 2009-10, mainly in onshore and offshore Taranaki, but also in the Great South Basin.
