FORMER Voyager Energy managing director John Begg is getting back into the US oil and gas space by taking up to a 20% interest in an area of mutual interest in California's Sacramento Basin over some newly defined large gas prospects in an unloved part of the world, Sacgasco managing director Gary Jeffery has told Energy News.
Begg was the founder of Bombora Energy that had assets in Tunisia and Italy that were originally backdoored onto the ASX to form Xstate Resources in 2010, where Jeffery used to rule the roost.
