Bird drills deeper

FREMONT Petroleum’s Bird 13-18 well, part of the Colorado Pathfinder project, continues to intersect oil within the upper 800 feet of the Pierre formation and is producing crude oil during drilling.

The lower 200 feet of the formation is being drilled and crude continues its flow through the blooey  line.    Fremont has said it expects to reach target depth within 24 hours in the Sharon Springs...
