Tag oil gets greenlight for NZ divestment to Tamarind

CANADIAN oiler Tag Oil has received final approval from the New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals Department for the sale and transfer of its entire New Zealand upstream portfolio to Triangle partner Tamarind Resources.

Tag will sell its entire acreage and position, including its Taranaki assets, to Tamarind Resource by the end of the month.
