Omega shores up maiden gas resource at Canyon

Omega Oil and Gas has unveiled maiden 2C contingent resources of 1.73 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of gas for its 100%-owned Canyon Gas Project in Queensland’s Taroom Trough. Significantly, the resource could potentially help plug a looming supply shortfall on Australia’s east coast.
