Octanex's Ascalon win

A PROCEDURAL error by the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator has led to a successful application by Geoff Albers' Octanex to challenge a decision to strip the junior of the undeveloped Ascalon gas discovery.

Last month Octanex revealed that NOPTA had rejected its application for a new retention licence over the 3.2 trillion cubic feet gas accumulation that sits between the Bayu-Undan and Ichthys pipelines....
