MOLOPO Energy told shareholders to reject Aurora Funds’ takeover offer in its Target’s Statement not just because it is too low, but because it is hostile and highly conditional, while its timing was “opportunistic and made at a time when Molopo is advancing its growth strategy in the oil and gas sector”.
