Oil and gas subsidies remain large: IMF

DATA from the International Monetary Fund released this month revealed that globally subsidies for the fossil fuels sector hit US$4.7 trillion (A$6.74 trillion) in 2015, and were estimated at US$5.2 trillion in 2017 - roughly 6.5% of global GDP.
