The two companies and association became embroiled in the fight after AusSpill and Spill Station launched an unofficial standard for oil spill equipment in April.
OIL and chemical spill equipment manufacturer Global Spill Control today announced it had reached a settlement with fellow equipment company Spill Station and the AusSpill Association, after lodging a lawsuit in the Supreme Court against both organisations for alleged “misleading and deceptive conduct”.
