Greens propose cash grab from oil and gas sector to finance drought mitigation

AUSTRALIAN Greens senator Janet Rice last week proposed a new royalty on all oil and gas projects, which are already paying the petroleum resource rent tax, in an attempt to raise a further A$4.9 billion which would fund the government's proposed Future Drought Fund.
