Exxon ex-boss Tillerson testifies on climate fraud in NY

FORMER ExxonMobil chief Rex Tillerson, who resigned as US Secretary of State early last year, took the witness stand in New York in a US$1.6 billion case brought by the attorney general Letitia James against the supermajor, suggesting it has misled investors on climate risks to the company’s share price.
