Tamarind Resources in hot water over FPSO payments

VESSEL provider BW Offshore which owns the floating production storage and offloading facility Umuroa, which operated in the New Zealand Tui oilfield, claims it is owed money by Malaysian-headquartered Tamarind Resources.

Last week, BW Offshore told the market it had not been paid contractual hire costs for the FPSO Umuroa which is currently producing from a field in New Zealand.
