Lakes loses appeal over Victorian Supreme Court ruling

LAKES Oil has had its appeal against a Victorian Supreme Court decision from September last year quashed, with the court dismissing its argument that a section of the Victorian Petroleum Act operated outside the current state moratorium of onshore exploration.
