Decent gains finish off a strong week for energy markets

THE week started well as hopes for a vaccine for COVID-19 pushed markets and indices up around the world and oil gained more much needed ground, however Brent Crude and West Texas Intermediate both fell about 6% late this afternoon as doubts arose around China’s economic recovery efforts.
