Bengal debt-free and eager for Cooper Basin exploration

CANADIAN-listed Bengal Energy, which holds a swathe of acreage across onshore Australia, has raised C$16.5 million (A$16.8 million) through a private placement to settle debt and pay for work at its Wareena project in Queensland.
