Major proxy backs activist shareholder resolutions 

MAJOR proxy shareholders have backed some resolutions put forward to Woodside Petroleum and Santos by activists, but not others, as both of the company’s are faced with looming climate questions at their respective annual general meetings both to be held April 15.

Key proxy advisory CGI Glass Lewis is not supporting a resolution calling for a roadmap on how Australia's two largest oil and gas companies will shutdown operations in the future and
