RESEARCH from financial think tanks Carbon Tracker and the Climate Accounting Project has found that more than 70% of listed companies have glaring holes in their financial reporting by failing to appropriately consider the risks that climate and the energy transition will have on their bottom lines.

The study, "Flying Blind", reviewed the 2020 filings and other relevant reports of 107 companies, 33% of which were made up of oil and gas companies, finding nearly three-quarters of those reviewed
