Miner takes position in LNG, helium developer 

IVANHOE Mines has taken a 4.35% share of Renergen via the latter's placement of 5.6 million shares on the Johannesburg exchange at R35.625 each (US$2.37, A$3.27), or a 5% discount to its 30-day VWAP, with plans for the miner to increase its share to up to 55%.
