Envestra pays 11% dividend

Australia's largest natural gas distribution company, Envestra Ltd, confirmed that the dividend it will pay to shareholders for the six months ended 31 March will be 3.8 cents per stapled security.

Envestra said the figure was in line with forecasts made during a $79 million capital raising. "The full-year distribution will be 9.5c. Based on yesterday's stapled security price of 87c, shareholders are receiving an 11 per cent yield on their investment," said managing director of Envestra, Mr Ollie Clark.
