Attention MD's: what are the analysts thinking of your company now?

One of the benefits of attending Australia's annual APPEA conference is the access to the thought...

No doubt fuelled by his rapidly plunging share price, which coincidentally matched the rapidly plunging levels of his Vasse Felix Cab Merlot, one unnamed MD latched onto your trusty EnergyReview.net operative and proceeded to outline why he and other junior explorer/producers were not getting a look in from the investment community.

EnergyReview.net was none the wiser after the spray, which easily outmatched APPEA chief Barry Jones' well-honed "restaurant rhetoric" - a tag achieved courtesy of a spray earlier in the week from Federal Minister Macfarlane. (That's another story - see Wednesday's ERN newsletter)

Following the adage that a picture paints a thousand words - and with this scribe's DT-affected fingers unable to accurately reflect his undisputed clarity of mind (Reg Nelson - the journos sorely missed the Berocca's you thoughtfully provided in last year's media pack), it is best left to this graphic to illustrate why a lot of resource executives have lost faith in the broking and investment community.
