Neptune will be responsible for the project management, engineering, fabrication and installation of offshore production assets for the field.

"We are delighted to extend our partnership with Apache. Neptune is currently working on several other engineering and diving projects with Apache and has an excellent ongoing working relationship," Neptune managing director Christian Lange said.

"The fact that the project involves the delivery of fabrication, project management, engineering and installation services demonstrates that our businesses are working well together to offer a seamless solution for our customers."

Apache achieved better than expected results from two appraisal wells drilled at Bambra East late last year, resulting in an upward revision of the gas reserves at this field.
