Eni keen to 'fast-track' Evans Shoal

ITALIAN oil major Eni has estimated that the Evans Shoal gas field in the Timor Sea contains at least 8 trillion cubic feet of gas after drilling a successful appraisal well.

The Evans Shoal North 1 well, located 12km away from the Evans Shoal-2 well, recently flowed 30 million cubic feet of gas per day in a production test.
