Another oil and gas recruitment firm in play

RQM365 has become the latest company to enter the oil and gas recruitment field.

Another oil and gas recruitment firm in play

The Norwegian company will conduct recruitment, qualification and manning for the oil sector, targeting platform personnel.

Given the number of discoveries and amount of development on the Norwegian continental shelf, finding qualified people is proving problematic.

There are about 7500 employees at the 31 rigs operating in Norway.

By 2015, there are expected to be more than 50 rigs.

This will be an increase of 4500 people in a market already crying out for rig workers.

RQM365 aims to recruit workers and train them for specific roles.

The newcomer is in the process of writing agreements with several operators on the NCS for training at various locations in Norway and at its training centre in Ulsteinvik.
