DUTCH offshore wind giant Orsted, has made a final investment decision on the H2RES demonstration project, which aims to use offshore wind energy to produce renewable hydrogen and is expected to come online by the end of the year.

The project, in Copenhagen, will be Orsted's first renewable hydrogen project in operation which they see as a viable pathway to decarbonisation.
