Elk's share purchase plan sees $5M shortfall

ELK Petroleum, which recently began some of the touted low cost repairs to increase oil flow at its Colorado oil project, said today that its share purchase plan raising had reached close to A$6.5 million, with a total shareholder subscription of just under $1.5 million and raising from underwriters of A$5 million.
