Chevron bypassed in Thailand asset chase

CHEVRON Corporation is “deeply disappointed” that it’s been passed over by the Thai government in favour of local player PTTEP to develop the Erawan and Bongkot fields in the Gulf of Thailand, a second loss this year for the supermajor after its earlier Indonesian loss of the Rokan field to Pertamina.
