Exxon to cut emissions as it faces investor pressure

US SUPERMAJOR ExxonMobil announced plans overnight to reduce the emissions intensity of its operations as well as plans to align with the World’ Bank’s initiative to eliminate routine flaring by 2030, as investors mount pressure on the company they say is failing to deliver shareholder value.
