Woodside to ramp up investment in US

WOODSIDE Energy chief executive Meg O'Neill is well known for her poker face, but at Friday's annual general meeting in Perth, Energy News couldn't help but wonder if they'd imagined a smile briefly tug at her lips when an activist investor took a jibe.

  O'Neill had proudly explained the company's philosophy: "stop emissions at the source". She'd referenced the Pluto LNG plant in Karratha, where an engineer had found a way to decrease emissions operationally....
