McDermott wins subsea work for Gorgon

MCDERMOTT has secured more work for Chevron's Gorgon project with the award of a contract for the fabrication of subsea structures and spools valued at more than $US50 million ($A50.85 million).

The company secured the contract from Vetco Gray Australia which involves the construction of 12,000 tonnes of subsea structures and spools at McDermott's fabrication facility in Batam, Indonesia.
