QCLNG on track for 2014: Chapman

BG GROUP plans to mobilise an additional 12 drilling rigs to Queensland to make up for lost time due to flooding but the company maintains its Queensland Curtis liquefied natural gas project is still on target for first gas in 2014.

BG chief executive Frank Chapman said the company had made significant progress on the QCLNG project despite flooding in the area earlier this year impacting the upstream drilling program.
