Ichthys CPF arrives

THE Ichthys LNG project’s 120,000 tonne Ichthys Explorer central processing facility has arrived in Australian waters for installation hook-up and commissioning, to be moored in the Browse Basinm after a 34-day, 5600km tow from Geoje, South Korea.

A sizable job is still ahead in permanently mooring the vessel about 220km off Australia's north-west coast in about 250m of water by using some 28 giant anchor chains, weighing a combined 25,000 tonnes....
